This sketch is from  "The Voyage of Billy Buckins." Sketch art is very difficult and must be colored correctly as to scan into the manuscript. This sketch was sent to me by my sister Linda D. Harrington who is the author/ illustrator of Holly's Backyard Adventures. This draft image was darkened and scanned prior to using.

Tommy Hop & Mr. Bear

This sketch is from "Tommy Hop the Bunny." Tommy Hop's friend Mr. Bear was very difficult to color for the manuscript. I did the sketch's for "Tommy Hop the Bunny" and had to rework Mr. Bear over and over. The main thing to understand about book sketch art is that once you create the image, scan it and upload it a few times, it will loose color. Use a very good high quality set of sketch art markers and cover every single feature.
