Books and Blog

Welcome! I'm excited to invite you to come in and visit. Get acquainted with me and my books, find out where to buy them and read my blog. If you're looking for heartwarming, wholesome books without sex scenes or cuss words you've come to the right place. I write stories that would be the type I like to read. My Amish and Mystery series have become hits because of my down to earth Iowa characters that seem real enough to be related to you or your next door neighbor. The stories are a mixture of serious and laugh out loud humor.

If you like westerns better or a true/fiction Civil War story that takes place where I was born in southern Missouri in Vernon County, I've got those listed here. Along with some short story books.

If you're looking for material on Alzheimer's disease, read my book Hello Alzheimer's Good Bye Dad about my father's struggle with the disease and what happened in the ten years my mother and I took care of him. Also, for caregivers in the health field or at home interested in tips on how to care for someone with Alzheimer's disease read my caregiver handbook Open A Window. People tell me my experiences in this book really help them.

If you are not a fan of small print which makes reading difficult you'll find my books are written in 12 font which makes my books reader friendly. So stay awhile and check out my work. You just might find a book that interests you.

The picture on this site was taken by me. Riding into a Rainstorm. The picture is actually two pictures I scanned together. One was taken in southern Missouri north of Cabool, Missouri when we were driving in a shower. The other was an Amish man driving along highway 63 in southern Iowa just south of Bloomfield.
