Summary

Sam, a fifteen year old girl, lives in a household that's rapidly breaking down. Her mother is a druggie and an alcoholic. Her father, when he is around, beats Sam and her eight year old sister Marie. The only thing  holding her together is her dance. But on her sixteenth birthday, she finds out she was adopted. Longing to leave her 'home' and find her real family, Sam leaves in search of her real family. Living on the streets, venturing to London, where her real family lives. With only dance to heat her spirits on the coldest of nights, and only dance to keep her sane.
